hat jemand schon beide Camcorder mal in den Haenden gehabt? Ausser dem Surroundsound und der deklarierten 1920x1080p bei der 9er scheint ja alles gleich zu sein. Ich wuerde mir die 9er kaufen - denn ich denke, dass der Ton bei der 9er besser ist - auch wenn mir Stereo reiht.
Ist die Videoqwualitaet bei weitem schlechter als die einer HV20 oder HV30 von Canon?

Ich mich lange mit der gleichen Frage beschäftigt und hab mir nun die sd5 bestellt.
Da mir nirgends so richtig bestätigt werden konnte, dass die sd9 wirklich besser in Sachen Bildqualität ist, dachte ich sind die 130,- mehrpreis mir nicht wert.
Ich denke für meine Belange wird die sd5 vollkommen ausreichen und bei einem Preis von 555,- kann man (glaub ich) von einem super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sprechen.

naja die sd9 hat progressiv scan - - dafuer steht das p - und weitere verbesserungen - habe hier einen interessanten vergleich gefunden.

In addition to offering four HD recording modes (see the specs for the HDC-SD5 for more information), you now have the option to record in a 25P Cinema Mode, which is designed to offer a more "film-like" feel to your shots, especially when shown on a good HD display. Instead of creating frames that are made up of 50 alternate, interlaced, line scans totalling 1080, the SD9 combines these alternate scans into one "progressive scan" totalling 25 full non-interlaced frames. This mode is denoted here by 1080/25p as opposed to 1080/50i ("1080i"). This is a major new option which hasn't been featured on previous Panasonic AVCHD camcorders.
Another new feature is the Face Clear mode, which is accessed by a dedicated button on the upper left side of the body. This feature isn't that different from the equivalent feature now offered on Panasonic's own excellent Lumix models in that the camera's imaging system detects human faces within the frame and, after marking them with a box surround, then keeps track of them as it makes automatic adjustments to brightness and picture definition in relation to the background - even when the whole shot is constantly changing. This is available in movie mode and also stills.
die 9er ist ja nur 100 euro teurer... ich denke der sound bei der 9er ist schon etwas besserer - 5+1 micros muessen ja ein raeumlicheren ton aufzeichnen. das micro ist auch anders angeordnet.

Wesentlich besser ist die neue SD 9 nicht.

Habe mich nun doch fuer die HV30 von Canon entschieden. ;-) Die Bildqualitaet der Panasonic reicht bei weitem nicht an die Canon heran - zumal sich AVCHD nur mühsam schneiden laesst!

Ja, das geht auch schlecht mit 3 Chips mit je gut 500.000 Pixeln, irgendwie ist eine 1 Chip Kamera bei High Definition mit guter Auflösung doch im Vorteil.
